    Trzecia z serii YCDTOSA płyta ukazała się w listopadzie 1989 roku. Szukając kolejnego ukrytego w tych wydawnictwach klucza, znajdujemy go na pierwszym CD. Płyta ta w całości jest poświęcona trasie z 1984 roku. Była to dość wyczerpująca trasa trwająca 6 miesięcy. Rozpoczęła się 17 lipca 1984 roku w Palace Theater w Los Angeles w stanie Kalifornia, a zakończyła dnia 23 grudnia 1984 w Universal Amphitheater w Universal City również w stanie Kalifornia. W międzyczasie - okres wrzesień-październik trasa zahaczyła o Europę. Trasa obejmowała 77 koncertów. Mordercza praca. Ale zespół był przedni i znakomicie się rozumiał. Jego siłę możemy podziwiać na video Does Humor Belong In Music??

    Pierwsze CD z zestawu YCDTOSA to zestaw utworów skomponowanych w różnych okresach twórczości Zappy, a zagranych podczas tej jednej trasy 1984 roku. Kapitalne wykonania, zespół w świetnej formie, świetne aranżacje i kawał znakomitej muzyki. Nic dodać nic ująć.
    Dysk drugi jest bardziej różnorodny, choć i tutaj pojawiają się perełki z 1984 roku. Płytę rozpoczyna znakomity 10 minutowy Dickie's Such An Asshole z 1973 roku, a po nim następuje rzadko spotykana (prawie w ogóle) solówka perkusyjna Terriego Bozzio składana z dwóch tras 1975 i 1977 roku. Reszta utworów to głównie też składanki z różnych tras i różnych lat, choć - jak to u Zappy - złożonych tak profesjonalnie, że ciężko poznać kiedy to jest grane.

    Następne 4 utwory to fragment występu z Halloween z 1981 roku z late show. Wcześniejszy show był transmitowany z MTV, a wieczorny w 90 minutowym fragmencie był transmitowany przez radio. Głównym utworem drugiej płyty jest prawie 25 minutowa wersja utworu King Kong, znów składanego z dwóch występów (z 1971 i 1982 roku!!). Kompozycja znakomita, znakomicie zagrana i znakomicie poskładana. Płytę kończy Cosmik Derbis z trasy 1984 roku.

    W sumie, YCDTOSA vol. 3 to bardzo dobry koncertowy składak. Świetne wykonania i wyśmienite kompozycje. Wielka pozycja poznawcza i gratka dla miłośników talentu Mistrza. Polecam wszystkim. Kawał solidnego grania.
