Disc two of this set is dedicated to the 1982 band. About half the material here comes from our ill-fated concert in Geneva, Switzerland (which ended with a small riot). The 1982 tour itself ended with a much larger riot in Palermo, Sicily a few weeks later. The '82 band could play beautifully when it wanted to. It is unfortunable that the audiences of the time didn't understand that we had no intention of posing as targets for their assorted "love offerings" cast onto the stage (in Milan they threw used hypodermic syringes).

    Rok po wydaniu YCDTOSA vol. 4, ukazała się piąta, przedostatnia płyta z tej serii. Szukając kolejnego klucza do wydania takiego zestawu, znajdujemy go bardzo szybko. Wydawnictwo to podzielone jest na dwie odrębne części ukazujące dwa etapy w karierze artystycznej Zappy.

    Na pierwszym CD znajdujemy wczesne i troszkę późniejsze odpryski działalności The Mothers Of Invetion z lat 1966-1969. Celowo użyłem określenia odpryski, bo to zestaw krótkich fragmentów życia The Mothers, nie zawsze koncertowego. Gadki, utwory z garderoby, fragmenty występów na żywo itd. To duża dawka humoru i wielki materiał dla historyków. Dla wielbicieli prawdziwej muzyki, raczej mało efektowny, ale to moja subiektywna ocena.
    Zaś płyta druga to w całości hołd poświęcony znakomitemu składowi muzyków z trasy z 1982 roku. Skład był rzeczywiście świetny i należy nad nim chwilkę się zatrzymać. Poza leadrem występowali w nim: znakomity Ray White, little Italian virtuoso Steve Vai, długoletni klawiszowiec Zappy - Tommy Mars, nowy, rewelacyjny nabytek - multiinstrumentalista i genialny wokalista Bobby Martin, świetny Ed Mann i nowa, rewelacyjna sekcja rytmiczna - Scott Thunes na basie i młodziutki pałker Chad Wackerman.

    W opisie do tego CD Zappa stwierdził, że ten znakomity skład mógł zagrać cuda, kiedy tylko chciał. Problem w tym, że publiczność nie zawsze to rozumiała, a oni nie chcieli być celem ich dowodów miłości radośnie rzucanych na scenę (np. zużytych strzykawek). Europejska trasa z 1982 roku wsławiła się jeszcze tym, że często na koncertach dochodziło do zamieszek. W tym przypadku prawie połowa płyty pochodzi z niesławnego koncertu w Genewie, w Szwajcarii, który skończył się zamieszkami. Druga połowa zaś to fragmenty występów we Frankfurcie, Monachium i Bolzano.

    Muzycznie - drugi CD to rzecz fenomenalna. Wyśmienite kawałki, znakomicie zagrane i nagrane. Wielka uczta dla ducha i ucha. W sumie wydawnictwo oceniam na 3,5/5. Statystykę dla mnie psuje płyta pierwsza. Druga to mistrzostwo. Polecam wszystkim umiejącym słuchać i tym lubiącym szperać w starociach.
